Theo Catanzaro, MA

My passion lies in supporting individuals struggling with eating disorders along the continuum, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder. Whether you're caught in a cycle of restriction, bingeing, or purging, or struggling with body dysmorphia or negative self-talk, I am here to provide a non-judgmental space for you to explore your feelings, beliefs, and behaviors surrounding food and body image. Although my specialty lies in eating disorders, I enjoy working with problematic anxiety, mood concerns, perfectionism, panic attacks, and difficult life transitions.

I take a person-centered and collaborative approach to therapy, recognizing that eating disorders are complex and are often influenced by cultural expectations about weight and shape. I utilize evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and family-based therapy (FBT) and then tailor the treatment to your individual goals.

Recovery from an eating disorder is possible, and you don't have to navigate this journey alone. Together, we will work towards restoring balance, fostering self-compassion, and empowering you to cultivate a healthier relationship with yourself and food.
